Körner & Moreau - Auto Portrait, 2015

Working conceptually across painting, sculpture, photography and video, Körner & Moreau explore relationships between technological systems, human culture and existential questions.
Their practice addresses themes such as time – death, presence – absence, and the universal –personal, often combining the sublime with comic elements.

Kristian Körner, born 1973, is educated at the Glasgow School of Art and Robert Moreau, born 1960, at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, and the Malmö Academy of Fine Arts. They live and work in Malmö. They have worked as an artist duo since 2015.
